Daniel launched Catalyst Intl in 2004 as a way of focusing support on Christian global workers. He and Lori began leading member care conferences in 2005. As a teenager, Daniel's family served in Ghana, West Africa where he developed compassion for struggling nations and people. In addition to having led many international ministry teams, Daniel has been involved in numerous relief projects in Nicaragua, Bosnia, Uganda, and Sudan. Daniel speaks at conferences both in the U.S. and abroad to both international workers and nationals in Europe, Africa and Central Asia. Daniel received a doctorate in Marriage & Family Ministry (D.Min) from Talbot School of Theology in 1990. He taught in an adjunct role there for 6 years. Daniel has been in pastoral ministry for over 35 years, most recently at ENCOUNTER Church in Southern California, where he served for 21 years.
Lori has been leading member care programs and encouraging those who work cross-culturally for many years. She has launched numerous creative church-based ministries which link people to global workers, people groups, and compassion efforts around the world. Lori directed Communications, Women and Global Outreach efforts at ENCOUNTER Church in Southern California for 20 years. She has led numerous teams for the purpose of providing renewal to global workers. Daniel and Lori have two grown children: Their daughter Katie and her husband Nick serve in pastoral ministry in Southern California and have two children; Oliver & Harper. Their son Kyle serves at a church in Southern California as a worship pastor.
